Since November 2023, Carolin Müller is Assistant Professor for the Theory of Electronically Excited States at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and head of the CPC group. She previously held a postdoctoral position at the University of Luxembourg (LUX, 2022-2023) and at Friedrich Schiller University Jena (GER, 2021-2022). Carolin Müller completed her Bachelor (2013-2016) and Master of Science (2016-2018) degree in chemistry at Friedrich Schiller University Jena (GER) and Dublin City University (IRL). Her doctoral studies were completed at Friedrich Schiller University Jena (GER) between 2018 and 2021, under the guidance of Benjamin Dietzek-Ivanšić at the Institute of Physical Chemistry. Carolin has received several prestigious awards, including the Thuringian Research Award, the Albert-Weller Award, and the Dissertation Award. She also secured notable research grants, such as the Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship, the Kekulé Fellowship, the PROMOS Scholarship, and the Deutschlandstipendium.
